Eligibility:

You're eligible if you:

can demonstrate financial need
do not already hold a university qualification

And you’re any of the below:

a second year student (have completed at least 12 units but less than 27 units towards an Approved Program)
Australian citizen, permanent humanitarian visa holder, or permanent resident
New Zealand citizen.

Approved UQ Program for this scholarship:

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering or dual
Preference will be given to a student studying in any field within the electrical engineering discipline

Selection criteria:

We'll consider:

evidence of financial need
personal qualities including leadership potential, community service and/or engagement
academic achievements to date in the Approved Program
any other matter the selection committee considers relevant to your future academic success.
