The National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Foundation champions research, supports education, and enhances knowledge to optimize the clinical experience and outcomes within the diverse patient populations served by the athletic training profession. Through this program, which is managed by the Scholarship Committee, the NATA Foundation awards master's and doctoral scholarships. The number of scholarships varies annually (from 50 to 75), with the amount of the award currently at $2,300 per scholarship. Scholarship funding is secured through a variety of sources, including the organization's endowment program, as well as through corporate and individual support.

Eligibility: Professional Master's (Entry Level Master's) Scholarship Eligibility Requirements: be enrolled in a CAATE accredited entry-level master's program that concludes with a master's degree have a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.2 (based on a 4.0 maximum) be a member of NATA Post-Professional Master's Scholarship Eligibility Requirements: be BOC certified and enrolled in a master's program that concludes with a master's degree have a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.2 (based on a 4.0 maximum) be a member of NATA Doctoral Scholarship Eligibility Requirements: be BOC certified and be enrolled in a doctoral degree program applicant may apply during their final academic year of master's work OR any time prior to their final academic year/dissertation year of doctoral work have a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.2 (based on a 4.0 maximum) be a member of NATA
