Eligibility:

You're eligible if you:

are a domestic student
will complete, or has completed, Year 12 in a Rural or Regional Area in Queensland or completed Year 12 as boarder, while having a permanent address in a Rural or Regional Area in Queensland;
first-year student
are enrolled or intend to enrol full-time in an Approved Program in an Electrical Engineering Field as a commencing student
do not hold a similar scholarship.

Selection criteria:

We'll consider:

academic achievement in Year 12
your financial circumstances
your strength of interest in electrical engineering
personal qualities including leadership potential, community service and engagement
any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant to your future success in the profession.

About this scholarship:

This Scholarship was established in 2021 by the Tyree Foundation in memory of Sir William Tyree, founder of the Tyree Group and a leading Australian industrialist.
