Upon the concept of the founder of the Matsumae International Foundation (MIF), “Towards A Greater Understanding of Japan and a Lasting World Peace”, MIF has started the Research Fellowship Program in 1980.
“2024 Research Fellowship Program” has been officially released. The deadline of application is 17:00 on June 30, 2023(Japan Standard Time).
Fields of research such as natural science, engineering, and medicine are considered with first priority.
The fellowship lasts for a period of six months and the number of fellowships is about 10 persons each year.
Six months between April 2024 to March 2025.
In order to be eligible for this fellowship, the applicants should fulfill the requirements:
Stipend for research and stay, Insurance, Air transportation (a round-trip air ticket to/from Tokyo) and Lump sum on arrival.
